HP Introduces 2 Thin, Ultraportable Notebooks

Hewlett Packard introduced two crossover 13.3 inches ultra-thin notebooks that the company believes to be very fast and portable. ProBook 5310m model is claimed to be the best portable notebook regarding its performances in the range of competitive products. Hewlett Packard`s products has a 0.93 inches thick casing slimmer compared to Apple`s slim notebook which is 0.94 thick and it weighs 3.8 pounds. The new device supports its applications and task thorough a shell made out of aluminum without an optical unit. Moreover, the innovative notebook comprises a 2.26GHz Core 2 Duo which grants the gadget`s full speed and a CULV-based 1.2GHz Celeron dual-core. By incorporating the Celeron device, the ProBook 5310m model is enabled to support maximum seven hours of battery life accompanied by the stock 4-cell battery under light usage. The purchasing price for Hewlett Packard`s new product begins at $699 if it includes the Celeron option and increases to $899 for the model incorporating the Core 2 Duo.

The second model launched by Hewlett Packard is entitled Pavilion dm3. Its main purpose is to be very light as to be easy to keep with you. This new model incorporates either an Intel CULV processor or an AMD Athlon Neo X2 chip. Moreover, there are two versions regarding graphics, one may choose either AMD`s ATI or NVIDIA graphics. However, there is only one full AMD option which enables customers to make switches between internal and dedicates video in order to conserve the notebook`s power when it is not connected to alternative current. This HP second model is a little bit thicker than its cousin ProBook but it is below one inch slim and still weighs 4.2 pounds. All the specifics of the Pavilion dm3 are not known yet, but its purchasing price begins at $549 for the version comprising AMD and increases to $649 for the model incorporating the Intel variant. Both versions incorporate Windows 7 and are programmed to be distributed starting with the 22nd of October when Microsoft`s operating system will be released.
