Asus Releases Perfumed F6V Series

They're colorful, they smell wonderful, and they have pretty solid specs as well. Asus has released its latest series of laptops, the F6V Series. The series features a unique design that lets off wafts of perfume as it works. In addition to on-board odors, the F6V series sports either a 2.53 GHz Intel T9400 or Core 2 Duo 2.26 GHz processors. It's monitor is a solid 13.3" across, and it comes with 4 GBs of RAM and a 320 GB hard drive. Not bad for a laptop built around a rather silly gimmick. I can't think of many practical uses for a perfumed computer, although I suppose regular bouts of pleasant fragrances (customers can choose between floral, ocean breeze, musk and fresh meadow) would be nice to have if you spend a lot of time working somewhere smelly. These notebooks could carve themselves a niche place in the hearts of businessmen who spend a lot of time in cramped planes and buses. Or among waste management engineers. Amazon has these smelly beasts retailing for a pricey $1,449. Good luck with that, Asus.
